trying to do more for the earth

  • - be as much an example to others and try and learn from other conscious minded people
  • - bake as much snacks as possible to avoid packaging and overprocessed foods
  • - no a/c use as much as possible
  • - limit tv watching to small amounts only on weekends to save energy and our brain cells
  • - reuse wrapping paper and ribbons for Christmas and birthdays
  • -try to buy "eco responsible" gifts for others
  • -use compostable plates for parties or washable plates/cups
  • - bring own reusable coffee thermos
  • - bring own washable chopsticks
  • - bring own takeout containers and utencils
  • - bring our own canvas bags and cotton produce/grain bags
  • - grow our own tomatoes and herbs
  • - buy nothing new as much as possible with exception to medical/hygenic needs
  • - eat vegetarian
  • - eat and buy much less processed and/or packaged foods
  • - washing in cold and line drying clothes
  • -buy as much local and organic foods as possible
  • -composting al veggie, fruit, eggshell and coffee grounds

omg! yes, playing charlie's angels in jordache jeans. i think i had chic jeans, too. LOL! and roller skates, omg! i'm trying to remember those wrap-around shorts...were they the ones that kind of looked like diapers and then you tied the two ends together in the front?
your post made me think of that vanessaa williams song, "these are the days, the sweetest days we'll know"

OMG, wrap-around shorts! Those were awesome! Rollerskating was the best! Don't forget the Mork-style rainbow suspenders with the ceramic pins from Summer's Place. Ha!
